If you are a small geothermal business—we need you!

Bob Lawrence & Associates, Inc. under contract to the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Geothermal Technologies Program, is producing the GeoPowering the West Business and Financing Plan Workbook.

The two-volume workbook is designed for the small business or entrepreneur who may have a great concept to develop a geothermal resource either for direct use or power generation, but who is unfamiliar with writing a business and financing plan, and applying for financing.

Volume One will lead the project developer step-by-step through the process needed to structure a business and financing plan that can be taken to a potential financing source.
Volume Two will describe different types of financing sources, both private and public, and explain the criteria they use to decide whether or not to finance a project.

When completed, both volumes will be posted on the Geothermal biz.com website in PDF format for easy distribution.

Your assistance as an existing geothermal business owner will make the workbooks more useful and relevant to potential geothermal developers and entrepreneurs.
